Scott J. Olheiser
Scott's family has lived in Wyoming for five generations. He attended Natrona County High School in
Casper where he graduated with Honors. He then attended college at Claremont McKenna College (“CMC”) in
Claremont, California where he earned a bachelor's degree in government and economics, with honors. After
graduating from college, Scott returned to Wyoming and earned a law degree from the University of
Wyoming, College of Law. While in law school, Scott was the president of the Student Chapter of the
Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association and was on the Senior Staff of the Land and Water Law Review.
After law school, Scott served as a law clerk to the Honorable William F. Downes, Chief Judge of the
United States District Court for the District of Wyoming. After his clerkship, Scott remained in Casper
and focused his practice on complex civil and criminal litigation. Scott has a strong desire to obtain
justice for people who have been injured by the careless and reckless acts of others. Over the last
decade and a half, Scott has worked tirelessly on his client’s cases securing millions of dollars in
verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients. Time after time, Scott has shown his clients that he
is willing to do what is takes to bring insurance companies to justice.
Scott was the president of the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association in 2014 and 2015. He is also a
graduate of the prestigious Trial Lawyers College three week course in September of 2012. Scott is
currently a board member of the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association and is licensed to practice law in
all state and federal courts of Wyoming and Colorado.
